Show Program and Strideaway Evaluations

Strideaway Farms has been competing on California’s premiere “A” and “AA” circuit for over 25 years. We carefully choose the shows we attend to ensure the quality of the show experience for our students. Currently Strideaway Farms attends between 10 and 15 shows a year.

While the majority of the clients that participate in our show program own or lease their own horse, we do offer a stable of ponies and horses that can compete at the shows we attend. One of our goals is to give younger students without a horse an opportunity to show in the lower levels of competition.

While we focus on the competition during the day, we try and make our horse show experience more than just riding. We think of our students as part of our family and accordingly we ask all of clients to participate in community building activities. In the evenings we attend barn wide dinners at our favorite local restaurants and when weather and location permits we always host a beachside barbecue.
